John Duncan serves as the Chief Growth Officer for High Tide Consulting. In this capacity, John focuses on long term, holistic, cross-functional strategy and development geared towards expanding the offerings and the capabilities of the company. This work includes guiding and supporting entry into new markets, product alignment and development for those efforts, and partnership/alliance activities throughout the Education, Nonprofit and Public Sector ecosystems. This work also allows John to collaborate closely with the Sales and Service delivery teams to ensure High Tide is delivering on its commitments to its customers, stakeholders and collaborators in the mission driven/impact communities.

John is deeply passionate about solving problems for mission/purpose driven organizations. The ecosystems that host our work are constantly changing and shifting and the pace of this activity is only getting faster. His approach is simple - meet colleagues and organizations where they are at - work to understand their unique context and subsequently create meaningful and measurable solutions that actually work moving forward.

John has worked with the Education, Nonprofit and Public Sector communities for nearly 12 years. Prior to that, John served as an administrator for the University of Michigan and the University of Oregon for over 12 years and helped run a small non-profit educational foundation in which he served as a Chief Development Officer.

Outside of work, John greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling extensively and reading the occasional Sci Fi/Fantasy novel.
